Idle Cultivation is an idle RPG inspired by Chinese mythology and games. Cultivate by absorbing spiritual energy through special techniques and break through to greater realms, growing stronger in your pursuit of immortality. Fight against increasingly powerful beasts, monsters and experts to secure generous loot. Develop the myriad arts to support you on your journey to the top. Cultivate, fight, loot, train, gather, craft, and develop your character in this idle journey. Can you become an Immortal?

Adventure

Adventure into locations and dungeons that contain powerful beasts, monsters and other experts to receive powerful loot.

Combat

Choose between 6 deadly types of weapon to defeat your enemies. Use the five elements, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, Wood, to deal extra damage to your foes. All elements are countered by another element and choosing the correct one can change the tide of the fight.

Skills

Level your skills to become peerless. There are 10 skills that you can level up from 1-100.

Cultivation : The main skill.

Mind, Body, Dao, and Array are assisting skills that will make cultivation, combat and other skills more efficient and powerful.

Alchemy, Forging, Talisman, Mining, and Gardening are crafting and gathering skills. These allow you to gather materials and create powerful items that will help you on your path to immortality.

There are also powerful cultivation manuals that will either help you in battle, or in your cultivation, that you can discover in dungeons.

I really thought it would be possible in the newest version since one of the changes it made was that it was possible to "save offline" with a "backup save", so i tried blocking connection to the app on the firewall or even disabling my own connection, but nothing really seemed to work...
To bad, i specially requested it to be update because i thought there was a chance to bypass this safety measure
I realized that it actually saves logs on the Roaming folder, in a godot folder, and one of the logs goes like this:

Dunno if im doing something wrong but once you close the game you lose everything and need to start from zero.

Yeah just came back to say the same. Unless the game requires an online connection, it doesn't appear to save. It supposedly saves every 10 seconds, and before closing the game I hit the save button, but upon restart it starts as if there is no save data at all.

Save files save in special folder like Melvor Idle, and they saved in the dev server.

While it does save online, after this update, if the pc doesn't have connection, it should have a backup, and with backup, if the user blocks the internet connection from the app using the firewall, shouldn't it be possible to play and have a save after quitting? It would only bring a little bit more work to the user, to block the connection to the app, but it shouldn't be hard to do, that is, unless you need to have first saved online before, which i'm not really sure...

Edit: Too bad this version doesn't have the changes of that specific patch, as it doesn't have the options that should have on the options menu

They can't do this sadly , bcs it's cost money,resources and etc. No one do this. It's better to wait this game with discount and play it or just avoid it.

Its already on discount(10% of a $4 game = $.40 cheaper), its a cheap game and it isn't going to get much cheaper.
