The more I play it the more I like it, the graphics and art in general are really good. The gameplay is very very good since sliding through the arena is very satisfying as well as the fighting.

So this is...not good. It's not as bad as Forespoken don't get me wrong, it didn't make me want to claw my ears out due to cringe dialogue. Instead it's just...boring. The voice acting is bad, the combat is mind numblingly repetitive, you have like three weapons that all basically do the same thing without enough distinction between the three, maps is big but pretty empty and progression is way too slow. All in all, one heck of a failure for Deck13, what a shame

No they're not, the boss fights are a cakewalk, every single one of them. Also "It's slow at start but gets better x amount of hours later" is just bad game design. The only "amazing" thing about this game is how boring and mind numbing it is

Dumb argument. As is the "It takes X amount of hours for it to get good". If a game doesn't grip me in the first hour then I'm not going to force myself to play more of it just for the slight chance that it might get good. There is no such thing as "You have to play the game for X hours before you can review it" that's dumb as hell. What, does the voice acting get better after X amount of hours? Does the combat get more engaging? Does the world get less empty? Please, stop huffing the copium. Oh and for the record, I played for around 4 hours, I gave this game as much of a chance as I'm willing to give it.

Because Atlas Fallen IS a generic game with the same generic problems that other generic games have. Why why shouldn't a generic review fit it? And yes I would review Red Dead 2 after the first hour and it would be a full review because the gameplay doesn't change and the story doesn't get any better. The difference is, Red Dead's gameplay and story is already good to begin with. It's a completely different situation when you have bad gameplay or a bad story and have to sit through said bad gameplay or bad story for in hope that it gets good later. Which in this case it never does. And even if it does, it's not worth sitting through so many hours of bad gameplay, bad story telling and terrible acting just to get to a point where it gets good because by the time you reach that point(If you ever do) you're so tired of the game's shit that any good moments it has will be wasted and tarnished. A game, or any piece of media for that matter, HAVE to come out the gate swinging and be good from the start. Of course there's also the chance that something

These people clearly have not played this game. It somehow gives me dark soul vibes. Similar types of quests giving and item spawns. Talking about Dark Souls' gameplay, it is just killing the same type of enemy over and over to improve your stats. I don't know why they liked Dark Souls but not this one.

"These people clearly have not played this game" I played as much as I could stand to play it which was about 4 hours give or take. This has nothing to do with Dark Souls. It doesn't have the same slow impactful type of combat, it doesn't have the same level of challenge, doesn't have the same weapon variety nor enemy variety for that matter. Dark Souls isn't just "killing the same type of enemy over and over to improve your stats" that is only a PART of Dark Souls combat. Anyone who claims DS's combat is just "killing the same type of enemy over and over to improve your stats" has clearly never played Dark Souls at all. Why do I like Dark Souls but not this? Oh I dunno, maybe cause Dark Souls has more variety on every level, doesn't have cringe ass voice acting and delivery, has memorable characters, a way better story, a much more rich world and actual challenge which this game does not have. Atlas Fallen is generic. It's a game in a genre that's overly saturated and does nothing to set itself apart from the competition. And before you say "Oh but Dark Souls is in the same genre" yes but DS sets itself apart from the competition to the point that it started it's own subgenre(Souls Likes). Next time before you start making comparisons maybe you should actually look into the stuff you're comparing it to or else you risk looking like an idiot.

Very good adventure game very fun with touches of rpg. It is not the game of the year but it complies. You have to spend the first hour, which is the most boring, and then the game starts to get good.

Usually only single-player on IGG(If games have LAN/Local-coop it should still work),but there are so called "online-fix"-cracks,
Findable on other sites(there are sites who are more specialized uploading online-fixed cracks/games for online-gaming).
I cannot name one here,but i found this sites with the tag "online-fix" in search engine,

,but be careful,never pay!
And look for the ones who explain it well.

All the options to create a character are dreadful, your character will be ugly, no matter what. The dialogues and voices are torture and the game itself is boring, the camera sucks, it gets a little better after an hour and at the end everything is meh, the combat is repetitive to the point of exhaustion.
Garbage game, don't waste your time downloading it.

More to this. You only get 3 weapons. That would be great if they did something drastic but they dont. Each weapon has a tier that you unlock by hitting enemies. You have already unlocked all the movesets which is just a combinations of maybe 3 keys and the rest is the two mouse buttons. Like you said the combat is repetetive. The map is big and getting around you can sand slide but its not fast enough. Thank goodness that they put in fast travel. You get these trinkets that you can use and upgrade which give you powers and perks. From what I can tell most if not all of your damage is locked behind upgrading armor which you cant get straight away in the game. So that means they specificall locked the player from progressing how the player wants to. You are also locked from certain areas because you need certain things. anyways like the person above me said.....the game sucks. Its a great time sink though. But i gurantee when you get father into it you will not want to finish it. Everything else sucks like the voice acting, sounds, etc. They are ripped from different games and scores. Anyways, I didnt like it. You might though if you just want something to kill time and you really dont have to think too much about combat.

For some reason this seems to be the "hot take". I don't get it. I mean I get that sometimes people enjoy trash but at the end of the day it's still trash. Yeah, not sure. Maybe because its the same with mostly everything else? You are going to trust a mechanic with over 50k hours on the job over someone who has 10. Just like most would trust someone who finished a game over 12 hours vs someone who just played the tutorial. Kind of the same thing. I just played it for like 4 hours and decided it was shit and wasnt for me. A lot of people seem to like this kind of game so if it makes them happy and they arent harming others, then who am i to judge you know?

That's a completely different situation. You don't need to complete a game to review it and you don't need to complete a game to know it's shit or that it's not for you. If a game doesn't do it's job and grip you within the first hour it certainly isn't going to grip you later either.

I did enjoy both Surge games a lot but this one doesn't seem to be Souls like, it seems to be much more fast paced and action-y which is a good thing to be honest
