The breasts on the female character seem to grow with each game. This is the creep factor that puts me off from playing anime-stylized games, or just watching anime in general. That underhanded attempt at objectifing sexuality just feels plain wrong.

POTENTIAL SPOILERS BELOW
This game cannot be completed if you're going for the good/best ending. When playing as the original Sophia MA-01, the wall climb (pressing Up on the d-pad/left analog) while on a wall does not respond and the tank will just slide down the wall. This screen in the final area is as far as the player is allowed to progress. I don't know if this is a lockout by Inti-Creates to prevent those playing a cracked copy from completing the game.

I can remember getting Blaster Master for the ps one and hearing my uncle saying 'Wow can't believe ps one and n64 where built with the same graphics."
To my recollection, the tank in blaster master did look like a shitty rendering of the tank in Starfox 64

Seems like previous games are required playing the third entry, despite the gameplay using a contrivance to reset the protagonist's capabilties to the default in previous games.
For one, who the fuck's Fred? The frog? Also I don't remember the protagonist having that scar. Also, Eve's "progression". Heh.

yeah dude, Fred has been the mysterious frog's name since the first nes game.
the 2nd one didnt reset any abilities, they made you use a weird hover- slam charge mechanic to use new mechanicsa and moves. if you finish 2, you would understand eves " progression " and also why the Sophia isnt souped up again.
also,it's a video game,. you dont just stack all previous game abiltiies on your character in a new one, thats boring, you wouldnt grow and it would make it feel leik " last game + "

(11:40) I believe that this is a fight that you are supposed to observe the visual cues of them charging at Jason, and time the dash so that he can dodge away in time, and then attack them while they are completing the last few frames of the charging animation.

(6:20) Sure, the enemy thinks it's being cute by zipping around like some fucking anime ninjutsu-user, but if the player character can change facing instantly and the player can perceive everything around the player character, blinking about doesn't do jack squat.
