Dungeon Tells is a compact, replayable game about reading unreliable thoughts and deciding when you know enough to act.

It combines hidden-identity deduction with the escalating reveals and calculated risks of a game show. Not every starting board is designed to give you one completely certain answer before you act.

Sometimes the clues narrow the possibilities rather than solve the puzzle outright, forcing you to compare probabilities and make a calculated gamble.

Every execution reveals more information, giving you greater certainty about what to do next.

EXECUTE TO UNCOVER THE TRUTH

Use Demi’s trusty axe, Beatrice, to execute the heroes you believe you can afford to lose.

Every executed hero reveals their true Personality and LVL. Use that new information to verify earlier statements, reconsider your deductions, and improve your odds as the escape continues.

CHARM THE STRONG AND USE THEIR POWER AGAINST THEIR ALLIES

When only three heroes remain, Demi can Charm one of them and turn them against their former allies.

Choose carefully. Your champion must defeat the remaining heroes using their available LVL. Deduce correctly and they will save your dungeon for you. Choose poorly and the survivors will come for Demi next.

EVOLUTIONS COMPLICATE FUTURE ESCAPES

After saving your dungeon, choose an Evolution such as Looter, Selfless, or Nurturing.

During the next escape, your Evolutions are randomly assigned to participating heroes. They may strengthen a useful champion, weaken a dangerous enemy, or completely change how you evaluate the board.

RANDOMIZED HEROES, CLUES, AND RISKS

Dungeon Tells features forty-eight hero classes with different thought patterns. Each escape combines a fresh selection of heroes, LVLs, Personalities, and possible Evolutions.
