Conquer Europe, become an Emperor.

Build your family’s dynasty through seven centuries, from 800 A.D. to 1492 A.D., up until the inevitable collapse of the feudal system.

Feudalism is a turn-based strategy game with a focus on traditional gameplay with your management and strategy skills being pivotal to your success!

Your success is measured by your ability to envelop and strengthen your family’s influence across Europe; using trade, colonization, conquest and some tactical assassinations. Arranged marriages can be used as a strategic way of influencing other realms. It is possible to effect greater change with a single marriage than would be possible with an army of your strongest warriors.

The world is a dangerous place. Nature may be your greatest adversary. When the heavens erupt with thunder and lightning, you must take steps to ensure your crops aren’t forfeit. Cut down and burn the surrounding woodland to keep the population warm and their meals hot.

As the population grows, it will be imperative to expand their knowledge. Only by being at the forefront of new sciences and technologies, will you be able to defend yourself against greater enemies. Increased knowledge provides the benefit of increasing production efficiency. However, knowledge and skepticism can lead to questions, and questions can lead to rebellion!

Feudalism, capitalism, and any other forms of government have its good and bad in any society. The real culprit is corruption among men and women who govern and have strong influence globally. A power shift usually means from bad to worse usually for the masses. The real change only happens when corruption is no longer problematic. The sentiment of "scratch my back and I'll scratch yours" must cease to exist to make way for such positive change. Debating whether one form of government is better than another is irrelevant at some point without removing the real problem; corruption.

If you mean feudalism (the social system in medieval Europe) is greater than capitalism (an economic and political system), you're comparing two things that don't really have a comparison.
But for arguments sake, let's assume feudalism also involves the serfdom system of peasants producing labor for the nobles.
So you're saying that indentured servitude is greater than free trade owned by private individuals... did you really know what happened in feudalistic societies? The nobles were filthy stinking rich and took every last resource from the poor saps who lived on the land, and only provided them "military protection" (which was often unneeded, or not adequate if it was needed, or they just didn't actually provide service). It was only greater if you were one of the few wealthy nobles. In capitalism, everyone has the ability to benefit. Private corp (like Walmart) provides goods that the average person could never have on their own, and certainly could never have in a feudalistic society. Capitalism also allows anyone to become rich, not just the noble.
However, if you're saying this game, Feudalism, is greater than the game, Capitalism, I'd only partially agree - the graphics are superior, of course, but the core gameplay of Capitalism was amazing (for '95, when it was made) as it was far more complex (in a good way), and far more satisfying to watch your private corp become a massive entity.

LOL, this fool gave a full defense of the capitalist economic system,
comparing textbook definitions as if nobody's had a primary grade school education. If you believe in that theory so much, why the hell are you on this site? Obviously, the previous commenter was making a random statement in jest, but you got all serious with your ridiculous preaching. And, LMAO at the Wal-Mart example... if you want to be serious, say something besides the most basic, shallow info that's inaccurate upon further scrutiny.

Alright, maybe I sounded too much like a capitalist "fanboy."
But, would you rather trade this system, as fucked up as it can be at times, for a feudal system where your labor was exchanged for glorified "protection" from rich fucks who couldn't even protect themselves if it weren't for starving the people?
Stating a definition does not imply one's belief in it.
Oh well. Make an educated comment on any social site, you get flamed... make an asinine jest and you get applauded?
Very well.
Serfdom FTW!

"Capitalism also allows anyone to become rich" in theory.
