I have been played this game im on day 4 in game every time i continue the game a few minutes white screen and close and when i try to reload i can hear the music and my character punching when i press mouse 1 but black screen at all

Okay, so...I just downloaded this, and it didn't require an install or a crack. It was just the folder, which is always nice. However, when I click to start the game, it opens up Steam, and I get a message that says "Failure. no licenses."

Anyone know what's causing this and/or how to get around it? I know S.O.P. for steam popping up is to put the crack files into the game's main folder, but...like I said, there AREN'T any crack files. Plus I've never seen this message pop up before. So...yeah.

Same happened to me, you have to run steamclient_loader.exe in game directory instead of Portia.exe, hope this works for you too

In case people are wondering about updates so you don't post asking and get in trouble, the good people here It IGG games said yesterday that they would update
both My Time at Sandrock and My Time at Portia to the latest version.
I guess check both in a couple of day from this post as they have to have time to
sort everything out before they post it.

It seems that i did something wrong and this keeps popping up when i try to install the 2.0.13 update.

I didn't delete anything from the game and the v11.09.2021 didn't came with any installer (just a bunch of files and the launcher. v11.09.2021 works just fine when i launched it but the update wont install.

I think the problem is that the game you downloaded is the gog version,and the updates are not compatible. Try downloading the torrent.

Hey buddy, I had the same problem until I managed to figure it out. I'll share my findings with you.
1.) Uninstall the game, if present on your computer
2.) Go into the .iso folder and open the setup.exe folder (You should see PLAZA on top of the setup application
3.) Make sure the "Copy contents of PLAZA directory to installdir" is checked (Important!)
4.) Run the installer as usual
5.) Enjoy. The game should hopefully work now

Turn off your antivirus or firewall during the installation, had the same issue, turned off the antivirus and it worked perfectly :)

For me the 4th update would throw an error and then I realized I was trying to install it with the antivirus turned on. After I turned off the antivirus, the game and it's updates installed correctly. The antivirus was probably blocking one of the installation dll files of the installer.

Game and updates worked perfectly up to v2.0.137882. Only thing to point out to people, us that you might need to turn off your antivirus. Sadly I forgot and the last update got an error, as probably my AV blocked a component of the installer. I ended up having to install the whole thing from the beginning.
Either way, it works perfectly, thanks!
PS: As a side tip. If you do not want to have a duplicated Yoyo, which is one of the kickbacker DLC pet, make sure to not Keep (accept) one of the two blank letters from the developers in your mailbox. I say blank, because they do not say or show what the reward is. If you accept the box, the little pet will appear in game duplicated and there is no way to get rid of it.
If it annoys you to have your mailbox always showing that you have mail, then you can get an Abandon Tag (got it from mysterious man for about 3500) and give it to the second Yoyo. It will not remove him from game, but he will stop living with you.

For those who are having difficulty updating the game.
I broke my head, I don't understand much, so I hope it helps those who don't understand either, because in read me it is not mentioned.
When you update, go back to the folder and replace the files in the portia data folder where the update is.
So it will work it replaces every time I updated, but I think it can be replaced only by the last update, so it will run smooth!

Help. The three updates were installed without any issues. I launched the game every single time I updated it to check the version. When I tried to install the fourth one, it didn't go through, saying it's a patch for 2.0.136413 which is already installed. Then all of a sudden, the game itself was uninstalled.

I downloaded all updates, but when I got to UPDATE V2.0.136413, it gives me red lines( indicating it hasn't found what it was looking for, i guess). I tried to run the game and it crashed before the menu screen. Deleted it. Installed fresh, but didn't install any updates.
Am currently playing for 88+ hours now.
Is there anything important in the updates that is needed for me to fully experience this game or I can just leave it as is?
Edit: Apparently the updates I downloaded using torrents where the problem. The updates here were no problem at all to install, everything was a success.

Instal Patch in UPDATE folder and if you dont checklist auto-copy ("Copy Contents of Codex directory to instaldirr") crack before installation, you can apply manually crack in CODEX folder
