Game runs fine, only issue is the console text and fps counter text are just blocks.

To install the game, use "RNHD-RDFC-PCXM-79RF-DNFK" as the key, go to the original folder before you mounted the iso and run the Quake 4 update 1.4.2, then copy and paste the crack.

nine months late but I was watching "Kane's mind" series and decided to look here or quake 4, thanks man, I was about to well... be REALLY confused on where that was,
how'd you find that key? is it somewhere in the files of the downloads or iso?
just curious, so that if I uninstall and reinstall later maybe I can look myself, lol.

Hey, if anybody who helped put this game on here reads this, I have a problem, the game is telling me to put in a 4 digit code when I start it up, but there's no code in the files that I can find.

The Only mistake people make with this installation is that they don't follow the instructions to the very Atom or very T of the instructions. Trust me, the answer is there, you'll even laugh once you find it. Heck....let me give you the answer. After Installation of the main game, do not forget, I repeat, do NOT FORGET to install the 1.4. something update file found in the Setup Folder. After that, then replace the executable files in your installation folder with the crack files in the crack folder. Then ....EURIKA!!! It works!!!!! How easy!!!, So go ahead and enjoy!!!

I TRIED LOOKING FOR THAT UPDATE FILE... GUESS WHAT...
I had to use the SEARCH function in WINRAR, for it to be VISIBLE... like seriously, it wasn't in any of the files, but when i searched it in the downloaded file(the one that holds the ISO) it APPEARED as I clicked "locate" XD!
christ, I was about to cry.
glad I read your message too, I looked at the instructions thinking it was outdated, buuut decided to listen to you and try JUUUUUST a bit harder thinking I was blind.
nope... was hidden for...some...reason...

copy? you don't need to copy, atleast with winrar, I just run it from winrar, either it opens the iso, or the iso daemon program from this site opens it, either way, winrar will open it, and you can just use the setup file in there lol.
yes I know these comments are three years old, sue me, I'm coming back to a classic game that I got scared the shit out of and raged at...
had low health in the sewers with the...culled clones? the zombie like creatures? acid/poison or what ever was the gimmick down there lol.

Well shit your PC probably doesn't support OpenGL if it's from a crappy pawn shop. Go build one yourself and get a better PC. Even if you had OpenGL it would look and run bad.
