Uhhh... I tried playing this game for nostalgic reasons (reliving the entertainment of my youth), so i downloaded this. I finished the setup and everything but when i try to open the launcher to play (both the shortcut and meridian.exe) it says 'No CD-ROM/DVD drive found' i was really looking forward to playing this so i was wondering if anyone could help me with this problem. If it helps to know i'm using a laptop running windows 10 and it does not have any place to insert a dvd or cd.
Edit: I downloaded from the Google Drive link as that was the only one that worked for me. Also i tried running it form the Razor1911 folder it didn't give me the message, but the game didn't load it just made my screen resolution smaller and i couldn't do anything so i had to force shutdown my laptop

My friend why don’t U try Dosbox. Download it from the Internet it’s free and install it. I suggest U rather use Razor 1911 rip. It works for me.

Even knowing this game is pretty F-ing old, I got it anyway for a good ol' rememberance of 2003. Everything works(ish) I can't get the game sounds to acutally work for some reason. Main Menu music - Works , Cut scenes w/ Sound - Works, Game Audio itself - Nope. If anyone knows anything, or if I just messed up something feel free, but I doubt it. I don't think it was meant to run on Windows10 to begin with lol.

My friend why don’t U try Dosbox. Download it from the Internet it’s free and install it. I suggest U rather use Razor 1911 rip. It works for me....

Use meridian file from crack folder where it says Razor1911 to replace the original one from the installed game folder under Program Files (x86)/Sierra/The Hobbit(TM). Then click on the crack file and it should be able to work.

I tried using the razor1911 file, all it did was minimize my screen resolution and my mouse turned into the loading circle. I gave it a good 10mins but nothing happened and I couldn't click on anything, so I had to force shutdown my laptop :/
