Short-ish, you 'pick' a route at the start of the game and then it's only choices to either make it work or fuck it up with this specific character. Banter is okay. Romanceable characters are cute and fun to read about.

Overall nice game just don't expect it to last long or have some deep profound meaning. It's a dating sim with one route per playthrough.

I don't know if you only watch lgbt movies or sex oriented series (like "sex in the city" or "desesperate housewives" , if that's your refferences, you're out.), but every media that portray "bet on who's gonna score" is never for "serious relationship", it's always about DonJuan man that want to score 3rd base to prove they are good, or high school student that want their first GF (which is, by deffinition of the so called mainstream culture you're calling now, not a "serious relationship")
